PAPERHEAD Field Notes Privacy Policy

Site features

This site has no advertising, user accounts, contact form or application database. Search matches the article index in your browser; search terms are not sent to Google Analytics. Your theme preference and analytics choice are stored in browser local storage. Updated October 12, 2026.

Optional Google Analytics

Google Analytics 4 loads only after you accept analytics. It measures page views, visit sources, browser/device information and approximate region using browser identifiers and network requests. Google receives your IP address as part of these requests. We do not enable Google Signals or advertising personalization, and omit URL queries and fragments from page-view data. Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_*) expire after up to 90 days; your consent choice is remembered for 180 days. Rejecting analytics does not restrict access to the site. Google's privacy policy explains its processing.

Changing your choice

Use Privacy settings in the footer to accept or reject analytics at any time. Rejecting after accepting removes this site's Analytics cookies and reloads the page to stop further collection. It does not delete information already received by Google. Clear site storage to reset your preference. If browser storage is unavailable, your choice applies only to the current visit.

Hosting

Cloudflare hosts the site and processes network request information, including IP addresses, to deliver and protect the service. Cloudflare's own service policies apply to its infrastructure.

External links and email

Game media is linked on official Steam pages, not embedded here. Following an external link or emailing the contact address uses third-party services and their policies. This site uses a no-referrer policy. Do not send sensitive account credentials.

Changes and questions

Hosting, analytics, advertising or data collection changes will be reflected here before they are enabled. For a privacy question, use the Contact page.
